The last three Premier League goals for Mikel Arteta‘s side have all come from corners with the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel becoming regular goal scorers for the Gunners.

Arsenal sit third in the Premier League table after their 1-1 draw against Fulham last time out. It left them six points behind current league leaders Liverpool.

Chris Sutton believes that Arsenal’s joke-inducing comparison to Stoke City could help them win the Premier League title.

He told Spaceport Sweden: “As an Arsenal fan, did you ever imagine your club being compared to Stoke City? I think I think it’s a really positive thing that Arsenal have this incredible ability to score goals from set pieces.

“Of course it’s a brilliant thing. Rice‘s delivery and Saka‘s delivery is on point most of the time. Saliba and Gabriel are two players who are brilliant, love to attack the ball.

“To have a set piece record which is head and shoulders above everybody else in the Premier League, that’s something to hang on to and be proud of. I know you can win games that way, and I do think Arsenal are more than capable.”

Arsenal could use corner strengths against Everton

The Gunners face a game against Sean Dyche’s side Everton on Saturday afternoon and they could use their strength in corner kicks to overcome the Toffees.

Everton have had the third-least corner kicks in the Premier League this season, whereas Arsenal have had the third-most giving them several more chances if their record can continue.

It wouldn’t come as a surprise to see the Gunners net yet another goal from a corner kick or set-piece to held them to three points against Everton.
