Official: One in, one out as Real Madrid name squad to face Rayo Vallecano

La Liga champions Real Madrid have on Friday unveiled the club’s travelling squad, for their upcoming meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

And it features one altogether noteworthy inclusion.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are primed to mark their return to action on Saturday night.

Fresh off a morale-boosting 3-2 victory over Atalanta in the Champions League in midweek, Real will turn attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, by way of a trip to Vallecas.

Los Blancos head into the matchup in the knowledge that, in the case of securing a victory, they will temporarily displace arch rivals Barcelona atop the La Liga table.

And, in efforts towards as much, Ancelotti and his coaching staff will once more be able to call on a leading member of their midfield setup.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

Youngster Camavinga has for his part been sidelined since late last month, owing to a muscular injury suffered en route to Real’s Champions League defeat at Anfield.

After the Frenchman was spotted back in training ahead of schedule this week, however, he has since been afforded the medical all-clear, included in Los Merengues’ squad to face Rayo.

The freshly-sidelined Kylian Mbappé, on the other hand, misses out:
