Tuchel managed Chelsea between 2021 and 2022 and led the club to the 2021 UEFA Champions League title, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. He was relieved of his duty in September 2022 after a run of poor results and a fallout with the club board.
The 51-year-old German tactician will be opportune to coach Palmer when he officially resumes his duty as head coach of the Three Lions starting from January 1, 2025.
Chelsea's Cole Palmer set to trademark goal celebration
According to a report by the Sun, Chelsea star Cole Palmer aims to trademark his iconic "Cold" goal celebration. The report claims that the 22-year-old has applied to the Government's Intellectual Property Office to have the celebration trademarked.
He hopes to use the celebration to sell products like clothes, food, and drinks which could rake in millions. Palmer first performed the celebration in December 2023 after scoring a brace in Chelsea's 3-2 win against Luton Town.
The England international disclosed that the celebration was inspired by his former Manchester City youth teammate Morgan Rogers who now plays for Aston Villa. Fans will be eager to see Plamer dish out the celebration by getting on the scoresheet when the Blues next play Brentford in the league on Sunday, December 15.
