Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is of the opinion that Ferran Torres should act as a point of reference for some of the club’s other less-used stars.
Frontman Ferran, for his part, is of course fresh off an outing to remember on the continent in midweek.
Introduced off the bench in Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Borussia Dortmund, ‘The Shark’ went on to prove himself match-winner, notching a brace en route to an eventual 3-2 Blaugrana triumph.
Something of a polarising figure amongst those of a Barca persuasion, boss Hansi Flick, in turn, made use of the opportunity to sing Ferran’s praises both publicly, and behind the scenes.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/flick-ferran-torres-elogios-publicos-privados-112562945)**, who have on Friday revealed that:
‘Flick is a lover of the culture of effort and daily work and in that the coach believes that Ferran is one of the best examples.’
The German tactician has, in turn, advised some of the other leading members of his squad who may be struggling for minutes to look towards the former Manchester City man as a point of reference moving forward.
