Ange Postecoglou could axe Timo Werner from the Tottenham starting XI for the trip to face Southampton on Sunday.
The Lilywhites are coming off the back of the frustrating 1-1 draw against Rangers on Thursday (12 December) which has seen pressure pile on the Australian.
Spurs are now preparing to travel to the South Coast on 15 December with a view to securing a win for the first time in five games across all competitions.
A clash against the Premier League’s bottom side poses a perfect opportunity to bounce back to winning ways but a strong team still needs to be fielded.
This could see Rodrigo Bentancur and Werner axed from the side while Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski could come in from the start at St Mary’s.

Ahead of the Englishman, Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin look could remain in the starting XI despite the latter failing to win a tackle against Rangers.
At full-back, it is likely that Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro will keep their role in the side, especially after the Italy international kept up a 100 per cent tackle success last time out.
Bentancur is suspended and will be absent from the clash at St Mary’s while Yves Bissouma could keep his place after maintaining a 100 per cent pass accuracy in Govan. James Maddison could drop into a deeper role alongside the Mali international.
Kulusevski could come into the starting XI as an attacking midfielder after scoring off the bench in Glasgow as he also created three chances, the most on the pitch.

Out wide, Postecoglou could be set to axe Werner after hooking him at halftime in the Europa League. His 0 per cent dribble success was terrible and as a result, could see him replaced by Solanke with Brennan Johnson keeping his role on the right wing.
Heung-Min Son could shift across to the left, to afford the English striker to start up top. The 32-year-old kept up an 81 per cent pass accuracy despite having just 39 touches against Rangers and should still start against Southampton.
