Liverpool have found themselves in the midst of an injury crisis this season despite rising to the top of the Premier League and Champions League standings.
But this week they welcomed back Alisson Becker to the starting XI after the Brazilian goalkeeper missed two months due to a hamstring injury.

The 32-year-old made a string of world-class saves in the Champions League win against Girona, emphasising his credentials as Arne Slot’s preferred No.1 despite Caoimhin Kelleher’s strong form in his absence.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has also shaken off his recent injury concerns with the England man missing two weeks of action in November. He was nursed through a couple of fixtures - including Newcastle away - which meant Slot’s squad depth was tested.

Konate and Tsimikas spotted at training ground
News this week confirms that Liverpool’s injury problems are showing further signs of clearing.
Ibrahima Konate was spotted on the comeback trail at the AXA Training Centre during the week while Kostas Tsimikas was also pictured back in action.
More good news was to follow in Friday’s pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League fixture against Fulham at Anfield on Saturday at 3pm.
Arne Slot confirmed that Diogo Jota is back in contention to play having picked up an upper-body injury back in October against Chelsea.
The Dutchman also stated that Federico Chiesa could feature against the Cottagers at the weekend even though the Italian has played NO first-team football since September. Chiesa, 27, played and scored for the Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup against FC Nordsjaelland last week.
However, he missed out during the week against Girona due to illness.

Liverpool absences vs Fulham
Likewise, Tyler Morton did not travel to Spain having picked up a minor injury setback and it’s not known whether the England under-21 international will be fit for the weekend.
Also absent will be Alexis Mac Allister, who is suspended for one Premier League match.
He was scheduled to miss the game against Everton last weekend but it was postponed owing to Storm Darragh. There will be no place either for Conor Bradley, who was injured along with Konate during the Champions League victory against Real Madrid last month.
It means the Reds have a mixed outlook for the weekend as they attempt to preserve their lead at the top of the table.
Bradley, Konate and Tsimikas are all out injured, Mac Allister is suspended and Morton is doubtful. Meanwhile we could see Jota replace Darwin Nunez up top and Chiesa given some minutes in attack.
