RUUD VAN NISTELROOY admitted he may need to get creative in covering for Leicester City’s midfield shortages when they travel to [Newcastle United](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle) tomorrow.
With Boubakary Soumare suspended, Wilfred Ndidi injured and Harry Winks doubtful, Oliver Skipp and Hamza Choudhury are expected to start the match for the Foxes but van Nistelrooy has few options in reserve and has been casting around for possible solutions this week.
Nineteen-year-old Henry Cartwright has been training with the first team, while the Dutch manager also said he had been looking at some senior players who might be able to play out of position if needed.
“It’s something we have to be prepared for,” van Nistelrooy said. “We’ve had a week to prepare options of players who don’t regularly play there but might have to play there during the game.
“Also players from the Under-21s that we are having in our sessions like Henry, to assess him and see how he can do and whether he can do a job. We’re bringing him in in that way. I’m assessing, knowing we’re missing two for sure and Harry is very doubtful.

“We have different profiles in the squad. We have what we can use for different games. Now, options are limited because of suspensions and injuries. When the options are limited, we don’t have the variety to pick certain profiles.
“But we have profiles there with Skippy and Hamza. We have other players who can play there that don’t regularly play there, either from the backline or from the wings.
“We have some options trained and we’ll see what we come up with on Saturday.”
