Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram, according to sensational reports in Spain.
The France international has enjoyed a prolific spell at San Siro, since joining the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer, but he could be on the move again in 2025.
Thuram has 10 goals and six assists in just 14 Serie A appearances so far this season, and his form has attracted the attention of several top European clubs.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with the 27-year-old for the past few months, while Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool are also interested in signing him next year, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Thuram’s current deal at Inter isn’t due to expire until 2028, while his €85 million release clause could prove to be a major issue, but his form in Italy is being monitored by a host of elite clubs from across Europe.

Marcus Thuram to Real Madrid?
Barcelona reportedly view Thuram as an “ideal complement to Robert Lewandowski,” but the Blaugrana’s current financial position means they are unlikely to match Inter’s asking price.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have been tipped to offer Mohamed Salah a new contract and with the attacking options already at Arne Slot’s disposal, a move for Thuram may be forced to wait until 2026.
However, Real Madrid view the Frenchman as the perfect foil for Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
Mbappe has struggled since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in July, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side reportedly believe that adding Thuram to their attacking roster could help the former Paris Saint-Germain star rediscover his best form in 2025.
Mbappe has 12 goals and two assists in 22 appearances for Real Madrid, but he has been widely criticised for his performances during the 2024-25 campaign, and Los Blancos are eager for him to find his feet in Spain.
