Arsenal are reportedly looking to wrap up a deal to sign Vitor Reis – one of the most talented young players in South America.
Vitor Reis has really impressed for Palmeiras over the past few months, and he’s drawing attention from some of the biggest teams in Europe.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is the latest to throw his hat into the ring in the race to obtain the teenager’s signature.
And the Gunners are said to have actually made contact with Palmeiras already about bringing Reis to north London.
He has been named as one of the five best young South Americans set to move to the Premier League in 2025.
Arsenal are a hugely attractive prospect for the world’s best young players right now.

According to a report from Goal out in Brazil, Arsenal have made contact to sign Palmeiras teenager Vitor Reis.
Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are in the race for signature as well.
The Brazilian teenager is a real talent, and is said to be one of the most exciting young defenders in South American right now.
Reis is a centre-back by trade, but he can operate as a right-back as well if need be.
The 18-year-old possesses very impressive pace and has been gifted with exceptional technical ability with the ball at his feet.
It’s little wonder why Arteta might what to bring the South American youngster to the Emirates – he has the perfect profile needed to play in the Gunners’ back-line.
In 18 league appearances for Palmeiras so far this season, Reis has averaged 1.6 tackles, 4.3 clearances and 2.6 successful aerial duels per game. He also has an 89.2% pass completion rate.
Vitor Reis is far from the finished article, but he has the talent and potential needed to succeed at Arsenal.
According to a report from The Mirror, he is available for around £29 million.
It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal are able to win the race for his signature though.
