Paul Pogba in his Juventus days.
Paul Pogba is currently without a club with a return to football in sight.
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has teased his return to professional football - just weeks after his contract at Juventus was terminated.
The 31-year-old left the Italian outfit on November 30, despite having his ban for a doping offence in September 2023 cut down to 18 months after a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Pogba, however, is unable to return to team training until January 2025 and his return to competitive action will have to wait until March - and after the January transfer window.

But that hasn't stopped the midfielder from, seemingly, dropping a hint about his future on Instagram, as a cryptic story he posted on Friday night contained an hourglass emoji followed by a zipped mouth and a stuck-out tongue.
Earlier this month, France international Pogba was linked with a shock move back to United, where he made over 200 appearances after re-signing with the club in a £89million deal back in 2016.
Speaking to Casino Utan Spelpaus, former United striker Louis Saha insisted that a return to Old Trafford would be a great opportunity for the Frenchman.
"Paul needs to get back to his best level as quickly as possible - and training with top players will help him to do that," said Saha. "I think he'd be thrilled to have the opportunity to go back to the club.
"I also think that Paul is still a very special player. When you think about midfielders, Pogba has unique qualities. I think the United squad lacks power in their midfield and we're missing a skilful player that can play box-to-box, so he would be a good addition [to the United squad] because he's a different profile of player to what United have.
"When I look at Pogba, I think that many teams in the Premier League would find signing him - as a free agent - an attractive proposition. Forget about the salary, I'm sure Paul is ready to find a compromise on that as he wants to play football again after such a long time on the side-line. When I think about Pogba, there are more positives with signing him than there are negatives, and I think he's a player that should interest Manchester United in January."
