Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has lauded Bukayo Saka’s exceptional form, highlighting the young winger’s ability to perform at the highest level across multiple competitions. Speaking to Arsenal Media, Arteta expressed his admiration for Saka’s consistency and hinted at ambitious plans to elevate his game even further.
“It is remarkable what he is doing consistently every three days in different competitions at this level, and he will continue to do that,” Arteta said. “He’s exceptional at what he does, and he’s doing it very consistently. Now we need to go to the next step with things collectively as well to get that level. That’s the aim.”
Saka has become a cornerstone of Arsenal’s success in recent seasons, delivering crucial goals, assists, and performances that underline his status as one of Europe’s brightest young talents. His ability to maintain top form amid a congested fixture schedule has been a key factor in Arsenal’s campaign, with the team fighting on multiple fronts domestically and in Europe.

Arteta also revealed that setting clear targets is essential to Saka’s continued development. “We always set targets, but it’s about understanding how we’re going to reach those targets,” he explained. “If we have an idea to score 30 goals or 40, it’s about how we’re going to do it and then how we’re going to create a plan to try to develop the player to give him the best possible chance to make sure he’s able to do that.”
While Saka’s individual brilliance has been undeniable, Arteta emphasized the importance of collective improvement to match the winger’s high standards. This approach suggests that Arsenal’s coaching staff is focused not only on refining Saka’s skills but also on creating a cohesive team dynamic that maximizes his impact.
As Arsenal continues to chase silverware this season, the reliance on Saka to deliver in key moments is unlikely to waver. However, Arteta’s comments provide a glimpse into the club’s long-term vision for Saka, aiming to push the 23-year-old to even greater heights while ensuring that the team evolves alongside him.
This proactive approach to development, combined with Saka’s natural talent and work ethic, could see the player reach the lofty heights set by Arsenal’s coaching staff, further cementing his legacy at the club.
