Barcelona star leading Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka as best key passer in Europe

Barcelona star Raphinha leads all players across Europe’s top-7 leagues when it comes to key passes this season.

That’s according to statisticians DataMB, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course in the midst of a scintillating campaign in Catalunya’s capital to date.

The Brazilian’s hefty 17 goals have proven the headline talking point when it comes to his production, but Raphinha has also been a leading creative force for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.

As much is evidenced by not only his 10 assists across all competitions, but also the fact that the former Leeds United man leads all of Europe when it comes to key passes in league play, with 22.

Following close behind is Arsenal standout Bukayo Saka with 19, ahead of Tottenham pair Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min.

Another Barca star, in Lamine Yamal, also features prominently, in joint-5th:
