Aston Villa, Bayern Munich Set to Challenge Juventus for PSG Outcast

Milan Škriniar has found himself in a backup role at Paris Saint-Germain, with manager Luis Enrique choosing Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his starting center-backs. It seems the veteran defender could be on his way out in the coming weeks.

Although Škriniar was linked with several clubs over the summer, he opted to stay at PSG. However, with the January transfer window approaching, it now looks likely that Škriniar will seek a move, and a return to Serie A, where he enjoyed success with Inter Milan, seems increasingly probable.

In October,CalcioMercato’s Daniele Longo reported that Škriniar informed his agent of his preference to return to Italy, with Juventus potentially being a loan destination. While Juventus remains a strong contender, new reports suggest other clubs could also be interested ahead of the January window.

PSGInside_Actu on X reported that among the clubs interested, Juventus appears to be the top contender for Škriniar. The Italian club, which is looking to strengthen its defense, is reportedly close to reaching an agreement with the player for a transfer this winter.

A move to Juventus would see Škriniar return to Serie A, a league where he has already made a name for himself during his time at Inter Milan. However, Juventus isn’t the only club in the race.

Galatasaray, Bayern Munich, Aston Villa, and Al-Hilal have all shown interest in the defender. Each of these clubs offers different opportunities, whether it’s European competitions, sporting challenges, or financial incentives.

Eintracht Frankfurt has also made an offer for Škriniar, but he has yet to respond. It seems he’s taking his time to carefully consider all his options before making a final decision.

The report concludes by saying that with so many clubs interested, it seems likely that Škriniar will leave PSG this winter. The club could use his departure to free up salary space and possibly generate funds to invest in other areas of the team.
