How should Chelsea line up against Brentford to keep stacking those wins?

Thursday’s 3-1 win over Astana made it six wins in a row in all competitions for Chelsea, but up next are bogey-team Brentford, against whom we’re winless in five and who have won, believe it or not, three straight at Stamford Bridge. In fact, the last time we beat them in a league match at the Bridge is still way back in 1946.

We’re certainly overdue.

Thankfully, we should be well rested after the majority of the squad got to skip the long trip to Kazakhstan midweek. We do however have a few injury concerns, including João Félix (unless it was just travelitis) and Roméo Lavia, who was taken off at halftime last weekend as precaution. They join Reece James and Wesley Fofana on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Mykhailo Mudryk may or may not be dealing with an illness still, and Pedro Neto will also miss out as he’s suspended for yellow card accumulation.

Choose wisely.
