Chelsea return to action tomorrow night with a London derby against rivals Brentford.
Chelsea host Brentford on Sunday night in the Premier League, with the weekend fixture taking place at the unusual kick-off time of 7pm.
The Blues go into the weekend sitting second in the league table because of their great recent form.
Interestingly, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has praised Chelsea by claiming they might be the most in-form team in the Premier League right now.
Enzo Maresca’s side should go into any match with confidence. However, it’s worth noting that upcoming opponents Brentford enjoy travelling to Chelsea, winning on their previous three league trips to Stamford Bridge.

Alan Shearer predicts Chelsea vs Brentford
Alan Shearer has tipped Chelsea to continue their winning momentum with a victory at home to Brentford on Sunday.
Interestingly, the Blues have won their previous six consecutive matches across all competitions, including the previous four league games.
“Brentford’s away form is not good, but their home record is unbelievable and that’s why they are where they are,” Shearer told The Metro.

“But Chelsea, with the form that they’re in, will win this game. Even though they haven’t got far to travel it’s still an away game for Brentford which is why I predict a defeat for them.
“Prediction: Chelsea win.”
Paul Merson agrees Chelsea will beat Brentford and that they’re definitely in the league title race this season.
Can Chelsea finish 2024 on a high?
Chelsea have four league games remaining to play this calendar year, plus a Conference League tie against Shamrock Rovers sandwiched in their schedule next week.
If the Blues go well in these upcoming fixtures, everyone may need to start taking them a bit more serious as potential title contenders.
Maresca’s side are four points behind leaders Liverpool, who’ve played a game less as well, but the rest of the games in 2024 look quite appealing:
There’s no doubt that Maresca is winning over the Blues supporters with his impact during his first few months in the dugout. Apparently, Maresca’s training sessions at Chelsea are of a high level.
