Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga kept fans on edge throughout the summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in the Nigerian striker. Now, as he regains his 2022-23 form at Galatasaray, he’s expected to draw even more attention from top clubs next year.
Following a failed move away from Napoli, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan, where he’s been in outstanding form. He’s already netted ten goals and provided five assists in just 13 appearances for the Turkish side this season.
Tuttomercatoweb reported that Osimhen’s release clause is around €80 million in January, with the possibility of dropping to €70 million next summer. Recently, Daniel Riolo from After Foot RMC mentioned that PSG might reignite their interest in Osimhen.

Even though Osimhen has found his past form with the Turkish side, the player has a concerning stat that should worry any club keen to land him in 2025.
WhoScored highlighted that, despite featuring in just four of six matches so far, Osimhen is the biggest xG underperformer in the UEFA Europa League this season (-3.37).
