Borussia Dortmund duo Karim Adeyemi and Gregor Kobel have ended up on Chelsea’s transfer target list.
That’s according to Sky Deutschland, who cover the latest on Chelsea’s interest in the two players.
Adeyemi has managed 10 goals and 10 assists from 16 games this season and has been on Chelsea’s list for long.
The report states the 22-year-old forward recently changed agents and is now managed by Epic Sports’ Ali Barat, who also represents Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson.
It’s claimed the agent ‘maintains excellent contacts’ with both the Premier League side and their owner, Behdad Eghbali. This could be key for the Blues to secure the Germany international’s services either in January or next summer.
Adeyemi’s deal lasts until 2027, and this gives the Bundesliga side an advantage when negotiating his potential transfer.
Meanwhile, the BVB goalkeeper is also on the west London club’s list. The report states they aren’t pleased with their current stoppers, Robert Sánchez and Filip Jörgensen.
Sky say Enzo Maresca’s side are in the market for a new goalkeeper and the 27-year-old Swiss in their target list. It’s further claimed Chelsea have made contacts with his camp, but nothing beyond that.
Kobel’s desire is to continue at Dortmund, where he has a deal until 2028. Therefore, the Premier League side have to be convincing to sign him and his club teammate.
