Arsenal's pre-match social media activity on Saturday morning may have dropped a huge hint over who Mikel Arteta may start against Everton.
The Gunners welcome Sean Dyche's side to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon looking to potentially close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
In what has become a regular feature of modern football, the social media post uploaded at the start of game day usually teases which players could feature. Posting online, Arsenal dropped an image of Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber as their pre-match graphic.
Martinelli returned to the starting XI in midweek against AS Monaco after being dropped to the bench against Fulham six days ago. The Brazilian hasn't scored and assisted in the Premier League since the 1-1 draw with Chelsea before the November international break.
At Craven Cottage last week, Arteta deployed Leandro Trossard in the left-wing spot before Martinelli replaced him on the hour mark. The 23-year-old thought he had created a dramatic winner for Bukayo Saka in injury-time but VAR ruled the goal out after the Brazilian strayed offside.
Timber, on the other hand, has become a mainstay in Arteta's defence due to injury problems with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Joining Arsenal's early hint, Jorginho and Raheem Sterling both added info-graphics to their social media in the build-up. Jorginho started the draw with Fulham before dropping to the bench in midweek while Sterling has been an unused substitute in four of the last five games.
