January is going to prove a very interesting month for Everton with expected new owners at the helm for the winter market.
Improvements are going to be needed at Everton as the Toffees have failed to provide their fans with much optimism this season.
Going into the game on Saturday against Arsenal, Sean Dyche’s side are sat just five points ahead of the relegation zone.
With The Friedkin Group set to complete their takeover next week, there will be many people at Goodison who may see their position come under threat.
And it seems there is already one player who is hoping to make a departure from Merseyside for the remainder of the campaign.

Nathan Patterson wants to leave Everton in January
It’s been a difficult season for Nathan Patterson, who has been battling injury issues which has kept him sidelined for the majority of the campaign.
But according to the Daily Mail, Patterson is keen to leave Goodison in January on loan to pick up some more regular minutes.
And the defender would be keen to return to his former side Rangers who are just one of the clubs showing an interest.

Patterson played in a behind-the-scenes Everton friendly earlier in the week against League One side Mansfield Town.
Having only played 17 minutes in the Premier League this season, it is no real surprise that Patterson is keen to move on in January.
Rangers are not alone in their interest with a number of Championship sides also believed to be sniffing around the right-back.
What Sean Dyche said about Patterson leaving Everton in January
Dyche has hailed Patterson as ‘tremendous’ in the past, but his injury issues have caused him a major issue.
The Toffees have had their problems at right-back this season with Seamus Coleman also suffering from his own injury battle.
Ashley Young was slammed by Jamie Carragher following the Southampton defeat which would suggest the spot on the right is far from nailed down.
And that may well have been supported by some recent comments from Dyche who shut down suggestions Patterson could leave in January.
“Who’s reporting? Who? Tell me. Who? Name them. Oh online, okay, must be right then,” Dyche said earlier this month.
“Yeah, we will decide what happens with the players here.”
