Player ‘already negotiating’ with Liverpool and Manchester United – Reds to battle with Amorim’s side

Liverpool could be set for a transfer battle with Manchester United for Brighton & Hove Albion’s João Pedro.

Earlier this week, UOL reported the 23-year-old is the priority target for Arne Slot’s side next summer. They also stated the Red Devils are keen on signing the forward who has impressed for Brighton.

Trivela backs up UOL’s claim about both Liverpool and Manchester United showing interest in the Brighton player and then provide their own updates on this case.

The Brazil international arrived at Brighton from Watford in 2023 and signed a five-year deal at The Amex.

Both the Reds and Ruben Amorin’s side won’t be able to sign him next month as Brighton won’t let him leave in January. Those close to Pedro feel he’s ‘100% prepared’ to take the next step at the end of this season.

Trivela explain the attacker is ‘already negotiating’ with both Liverpool and Manchester United over a move next summer. The two Premier League giants have to battle it out for the South American’s signature.

Pedro has scored four goals and registered three assists from nine games for Brighton this season.
