CHELSEA have been told their loan-to-buy transfer for Jadon Sancho from Manchester United could be the “best deal ever, with reports that the club have an agreement to sign the winger for just £25 million at the end of the season
Sancho ended an underwhelming spell at Old Trafford by joining us on loan last summer, and the former Bundesliga star has looked alot more creative during his time with the Blues than he was at United.
The England international will spend the rest of the season at Stamford Bridge, but as part of the deal the club have agreed to sign him permanently for around £25m next summer after an impressive first few months at the club.
Now – former Stoke City defender Glen Johnson has opened up and claimed that the signing of Sancho could be the best deal ever – The former Stoke City man told Betfred: “It looks like a completely one-sided deal. These days, £23 million for a player like that, it’s like giving him away.
‘What he’s done in the last few weeks is what we know he’s capable of, but he just needs to do it more often. He looks like he’s enjoying himself and that’s why he’s putting in performances, so the manager and his backroom staff deserve credit too because these players that weren’t performing are now.
‘so getting Jadon to perform at a cost of £23 million could be the best deal ever.”

Jadon Sancho has been very good at Chelsea this season and is finally enjoying his time in the Premier League – so if he does stay at the club – it could be a great decision for all involved.
However – with the transfer policy that the Chelsea board like to employ, Sancho could fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge is a few new players are signed.
