FA Youth Cup extended highlights: City 1-0 Crystal Palace](https://www.mancity.com/citytv/eds-academy/city-1-0-crystal-palace-extended-highlights-fa-youth-cup-202425-63869117)
Our clash at the Joie Stadium will be played before Saturday 18 January, with a date and kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.
Our opponents play in the Professional Under-18 Development League and currently sit fifth in the Group B standings.
The young Lions will be looking to go one step further than last season’s FA Youth Cup run which saw them exit in the semi-finals after a 4-3 defeat to Leeds United.
They experienced a tricky start to their 2024/25 FA Youth Cup run, however, overcoming Hull City in the third round on penalties after a 2-2 draw in 120 minutes.
City experienced a similar tough affair in the third round.
A late Dan Batty strike on 82 minutes was the only difference as Oliver Reiss’s side picked up a well-deserved 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the Joie Stadium earlier this month to continue our fight to defend the FA Youth Cup title.
