Arne Slot has named his Liverpool XI for the Premier League clash with Fulham at Anfield on Saturday
Arne Slot arrives for a press conference at the Red Bull Arena stadium on the eve of the UEFA Champions League football match between RB Leipzig and Liverpool FC in Leipzig, eastern Germany on October 22, 2024.
Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota return for Liverpool as part of the substitutes as Darwin Nunez drops to the bench for the visit of Fulham at Anfield.
Jota hasn't featured for the Reds since October 20 when he went off after around half an hour in the 2-1 win against Chelsea, while Chiesa hasn't featured in a match-day squad for Arne Slot since late September when he was an unused substitute at Wolves.
Chiesa has made only three appearances since his £12m move from Juventus in late August and has played just 18 minutes in the Premier League to date, which came back in September for the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.

However, after both Jota and Chiesa returned to full team training earlier this week, Slot has named the pair as part of the nine-man bench with Nunez alongside them. Luis Diaz is expected to lead the line in the Uruguay striker's absence with Cody Gakpo off the left of the front three.
With Alexis Mac Allister suspended, Slot names Dominik Szoboszlai in the midfield three alongside Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch as the Reds look to consolidate their position as Premier League leaders against Marco Silva's men.
Joe Gomez partners captain Virgil van Dijk at centre-back with Alisson Becker starting his first Premier League game since he suffered a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace back on October 5. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are at right and left-back, respectively.
Nunez, Jota and Chiesa are joined by Trey Nyoni and Tyler Morton on the bench while Harvey Elliott is also ready to be called upon.
Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Jones; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz.
Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Elliott, Jota, Quansah, Morton, Nyoni.
