Everton FC supporters travelling to London today (December 14) for the match against Arsenal are being warned of train cancellations. National Rail has cancelled the last direct service from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street this evening, meaning many fans may have to rush for the earlier train.
The rail service was due to leave London Euston at 8.12pm and arrive into Liverpool Lime Street at 10.45pm, however this train was cancelled. The cancellation means many fans will need to get the earlier train, expected to leave Euston at 7.37pm, with the match expected to finish at around 5pm at the Emirates Stadium.
Any fans who are unable to make it to Euston for the earlier train will not be able to get a direct service back to Liverpool, with the later 8.31pm train involving two changes in Warrington. The later train also takes an hour longer than the direct service and arrives into Lime Street after midnight.

The Liverpool ECHO's Everton FC correspondent Joe Thomas shared the news of the cancellation on X, saying: "FYI for any Everton supporters on the train to Arsenal today, last direct service back to Liverpool will no longer get you back."
Some fans took to X to share their frustration at the cancellation, with Paul Smith saying it was a "disgrace", while Baz said "This country is a mess".
Travelling fans made their way to London today to watch the Blues facing Arsenal in a 3pm Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
