Liverpool vs Fulham half-time ratings as star player produces Embarassing performance

Liverpool are hosting Fulham at Anfield today as they look to restore a seven-point gap before Chelsea play.

Here are our half-time player ratings.

Alisson Becker - 7

Has been calm and commanding in his box when Liverpool faced pressure, which was quite often in that first half. Couldn't do much about the goal as it took a deflection off Andy Robertson.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 5

Any good progression that Alexander-Arnold managed was counterbalanced by not being able to track Antonee Robinson, who provided the assist for Andreas Pereira's opener.

Joe Gomez - 5

Did what was asked of him throughout the first half, including moving to left centre-back after Robertson's red card.

Virgil van Dijk - 6

Liverpool's main attacking thrust has come through his long ball ability, as well as his experience being necessary when the Reds were reduced to 10 men.

Andy Robertson - 0

Sent off on the 20th minute for a mistimed tackle on former Red Harry Wilson, with Fulham clean through on goal. Also wasn't aware of where Pereira was for Fulham's opening goal. The definition of a shocker.

Ryan Gravenberch - 6

It's difficult to have the best defensive midfielder in the world do his job properly when he has had to move into centre-back in a back three due to the sending off. He always does what he has to.

Curtis Jones - 5

It's a difficult job in the middle of that pitch right now, and unfortunately Jones hasn't been able to be his usual creative self.

Dominik Szoboszlai - 6

Has become Liverpool's main central outlet, dropping deeper to collect the ball and find wide players. Could have had an assist with a delicious ball that Luis Diaz headed over from five yards out.

Cody Gakpo - 5

A welcome presence in the side with a directness that is needed right now, but unfortunately just hasn't been able to get anything done.

Mohamed Salah - 4

The Egyptian is his usual lively self, giving Antonee Robinson trouble with his dribbling. He has, however, been immensely wasteful with his final ball and Liverpool just can't afford that right now.

Luis Diaz - 5

Liverpool's main attacking outlet was rated higher until he missed a glorious chance from Dominik Szoboszlai's little chipped ball a few minutes before half-time. Has been able to stretch Fulham's defence despite the man advantage.
