Andy Gray was staggered at why it took Abdoulaye Doucoure so long to get a shot off for Everton against Arsenal on Saturday.
The Toffees drew 0-0 with the Gunners at Emirates Stadium on 14 December in a shock Premier League result.
Things could have been even better for Everton as Mali international Doucoure had a chance in the first half to score as he went through on goal before being dispossessed.
This didn’t go down well with Gray live on beIN Sports 1 (14 December, 5:58pm), as he said: “If he’d taken any longer he’d have all fallen asleep there. Honestly, he took forever to get his shot away.”

The 31-year-old had made a name for himself scoring important goals but has gone without a goal so far this season.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
It is safe to say that he won’t get many better opportunities than he did in North London as the midfielder was afforded plenty of space and time.
For whatever reason he slowed down and took an age to eventually get a shot away but found himself under heavy pressure by that stage.
This threw away arguably the Toffees’ best chance of the afternoon in what would have been a smash-and-grab after Jordan Pickford made multiple top saves.

In the second half, Dyche saw his side be more adventurous at times but ultimately sat deep and waited for the Gunners to attack them.
Dyche is a man under pressure at Goodison Park, but this point – on the back of the 4-0 win over Wolves – will allow him to breathe easier for a while longer yet.
