Everton deserve credit for that. Sean Dyche’s men worked tirelessly to secure a well-earned point. Though they failed to register a shot on target—the first time that has happened in a Premier League game since facing Wolves last December—they defended resolutely, soaking up Arsenal’s pressure with relative ease.
For Arsenal, this will feel like a huge missed opportunity to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool. The six-point gap remains, with the Reds still holding a game in hand.
