Arsenal favourite Theo Walcott has said that the Gunners missed a big opportunity to capitalise on Liverpool's draw against Fulham at Anfield.
The Gunners went into the game against Everton as firm favourites, but they were unable to breach the Toffees backline for the entire 90 minutes.
In the same period, Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw against Fulham at home. They came twice from behind despite playing with 10 men for 80 minutes.
Speaking after the Arsenal draw, Walcott said that Liverpool are relentless and Arsenal's result is a 'missed opportunity' after the Reds dropped points.
He said: "Any opportunity that Arsenal don't get a result is always going to be a missed opportunity because Liverpool are relentless. You wouldn't have thought Liverpool had 10 men in that game."
Arsenal remain six points behind leaders Liverpool at the moment, but the Merseyside giants have a game in hand against Everton at Goodison Park.
The Gunners have struggled for consistency in the first half of the campaign and their title hopes seem to be fading with every league game.
