Your latest round-up of Premier League transfer rumours including updates on Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

The January transfer window is now just over two weeks away and clubs across the Premier League will be eyeing up possible reinforcements. Whether fighting for the title, competing for Europe or battling to survive, recruitment chiefs across the top-tier will see that mid-season window as an opportunity to achieve their 2024/25 goals.

January tends to be a lot quieter than the chaotic summers we’ve got used to, but with so much on the line across the Premier League there will almost certainly be some big moves. And with that in mind, 3 Added Minutes has rounded up some of the latest big transfer stories.

Pedro price-tag

Joao Pedro continues to attract interest from some of the Premier League’s top clubs but a January move could set them back nine figures. TBR Football report that with Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all keen on the Brazilian, Brighton will ‘demand’ close to £100million.

Brighton signed Pedro in a £30m deal from Watford in 2023 and after bedding in to life on the south coast, the attacking midfielder has really come into his own under new boss Fabian Hurzeler, registering four goals and three assists in nine games. That form has piqued interest elsewhere, however, with recent reports of interest from the Premier League’s elite.

But Brighton have Pedro contracted until 2028 and with no intention of losing their talisman, have reportedly slapped a £100m price-tag on his head. The Seagulls feel comfortable in the knowledge they can keep 23-year-old for years to come and will only entertain offers that suit their own terms.

Gunners January plan

Arsenal could be one of January’s big spenders with reports suggesting they will look to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic. CaughtOffside claim the Gunners are keen to ‘make a splash’ in the mid-season window ahead of what they hope to be a strong second-half of the campaign.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been a little inconsistent so far this season and sit six points behind Liverpool, thanks in part to their inability to score on occasion. Both defeats - at Bournemouth and Newcastle United - saw Arsenal fail to find the net and a world-class striker could prove the difference come May.

Vlahovic is certainly that and the Serbian was at the forefront of Juventus’ 2-0 Champions League win over Manchester City earlier this week, opening the scoring with his 10th goal of the season. But he will not come cheap, with the report adding a January move could cost around €70m (£58.25m).
