According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Daniel Yanez, a 17-year-old midfielder, has recently signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid, just one week after making his debut for the first team.
The journalist mentioned that the club has a high opinion of him, and this contract extension reflects their confidence in his potential.
Yanez, born in 2007, made his debut for Real Madrid against Girona in a match where he replaced Arda Guler in the 89th minute. Although his appearance was brief, it was a significant moment in his career.
He had the rare opportunity to play alongside some of the biggest stars in world football. This debut came after he had been named as a substitute during the team’s Champions League match against Liverpool at Anfield.
A dream come true
For Yanez, this debut was a dream come true. Having supported Real Madrid since childhood, playing for the club at the highest level was always his ambition.
From a young age, he expressed his desire to one day represent the club he admired so much. Making his debut in an official match for Real Madrid fulfilled that lifelong dream.
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment for a long time. Since I was born I was already a Real Madrid fan and since I was a child I said that this was my dream,”he said after his debut.
Yanez joined the club’s youth academy when he was just 8 years old, and he quickly made a name for himself due to his remarkable vision, creativity, and ability to pass the ball accurately.
His performances in the youth teams didn’t go unnoticed, and manager Carlo Ancelotti included him in first-team training earlier this season.
Although primarily a central midfielder, Yanez has shown his skill in controlling the tempo of a game. His precise passing, combined with his excellent tactical awareness, allows him to play a key role in building attacks.
With his recent contract extension, Real Madrid are clearly invested in Yanez’s future, and the midfielder’s journey is just beginning.
