Yves Bissouma might have opened the door for Callum Olusesi to make his Tottenham debut against Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
Ange Postecogou is dealing with an incredible amount of injuries at Tottenham at the moment, which has prompted a behind-the-scenes internal investigation to take place at the club.
That won’t be helping the Australian, who is under pressure in North London and in desperate need of three points at St Mary’s Stadium on 15 December.
With Daniel Levy expected to make a sack decision next week, results need to pick up, and Postecoglou is therefore expected to make three changes for the clash with the Saints as he looks to rediscover a winning formula after five matches without a victory for Spurs.
However, one player who won’t be available for selection against Russell Martin’s side is Bissouma.

The Mali international is suspended for one match after picking up his fifth Premier League booking of the season in the 4-3 defeat against Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday [8 December].
As a result, Olusesi might be handed the opportunity to make his debut for the club off the bench on the South Coast.
Callum Olusesi to make Tottenham debut against Southampton?
Olusesi has been shining for Spurs’ Under-21s in recent months, starting all nine Premier League 2 matches this season, scoring four goals in that time and captaining the side on occasion.
As a result of this form, the 17-year-old has been heavily involved with the first team in recent weeks, sitting on the bench for five of Spurs’ last six matches.
Therefore, with Bissouma suspended and Rodrigo Bentancur still unavailable, the midfielder will likely once again be on the bench against Southampton.

And with Postecoglou struggling for options at the moment, there is a good chance Olusesi could come on, especially if Spurs are to find themselves in a commanding position late on in the match.
In other Tottenham news, Postecoglou’s future appears to be in doubt after what Son Heung-min was spotted doing.
