Liverpool managed to claim a point against Fulham having played the majority of the match with 10 players after Andy Robertson’s early dismissal.
The Scottish international saw red after denying the Cottagers a clear goalscoring opportunity shortly after former Manchester United talent Andreas Pereira put Fulham ahead, with Liverpool fighting back to earn a 2-2 draw despite the numerical disadvantage.
One player who really struggled for Liverpool was Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Antonee Robinson exploiting the Reds’ right-hand side on multiple occasions as both of Fulham’s goals came down this flank of the pitch.
And Damien Delaney was critical of what he saw from Alexander-Arnold against Fulham.

Alexander-Arnold left Liverpool ‘exploited’ against Fulham
Speaking on Premier Sports, the former Crystal Palace defender noted how Alexander-Arnold was constantly leaving Liverpool’s right-hand side ‘exploited’ against Fulham, with the fullback enduring a game to forget for the Reds.
With Alexander-Arnold still strongly rumoured with a move to Real Madrid, the defender is already under pressure from Liverpool supporters to perform if this is to be the 26-year-old’s last season at Anfield before moving on to Spain.

Delaney said: “A lot of Liverpool’s problems came down Trent’s side. As much as I love Trent, being down to 10-men, him being so enthusiastic and front-footed and going all the way down that channel down the side was getting exploited all night.”

Alexander-Arnold knows he has to redeem himself after Liverpool disasterclass
Alexander-Arnold’s defensive performances are often in the spotlight after a poor game for Liverpool, and the 26-year-old fullback is more than aware that he had a nightmare of a display this weekend against Fulham.
Rinsed by Robinson in a game that could have extended Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League standings, Alexander-Arnold will have to redeem himself in a big way having endured such a poor match at Anfield.
And with some big games coming up for Liverpool, the defender will want to do all he can to show supporters that he’s still one of the best fullbacks in football and a source of creativity and danger for Slot’s side.
