Ruud van Nistelrooy cannot just go out and buy what he likes, but still there are a lot of new players linked with a move to Leicester. But at this point also other suitors in the picture, so all of these rumours are all described as cold in our list.
Jamie Vardy, Patson Daka and Odsonne Eduoard are all quality strikers and on the books at Leicester. Leicester also have the 3rd top goalscorer in The Championship, Tom Cannon, on their books. Cannon has so far scored 8 goals for The Potters. This week Leicester are linked with a move for Feyenoord forward Anis Hadj Moussa. The 22 year old Algeria international scored in a game vs. Man City, as he has drawn attention towards a number of PL clubs.
Offensive midfielders are not what Leicester are in need of at this point. Bilal El-Khannouss and Facundo Bounanotte are two very good alternatives, with a certain Will Alves as well as Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Wilfred Ndidi and Jordan Ayew being able to play in this position. Then to see 19 year old Leuven player, Ezechiel Banzuzi linked with a move, just looks very strange.

Victor Lindelof (30) has been linked with a move to Leicester, together with a group of other MU players seen as potenital departures from Old Trafford in the near future. Marcus Rashford being mentioned as a potential loan option, Christian Eriksen also on the way out, with a few youngsters seen as other potential players to go for, including them, Tom Collyer.
Free agents Joel Matip (33) and Ryan Kent (28) are two other names seen linked with Leicester, but it will only happen if players are shipped out.
This is a major consern for Ruud as he needs to balance out his squad that at the moment looks very messy and far from perfect, eying age, positioning balance and contract situations, as well as wages paid to players not really in the first team starting frame.
Steve Cooper made several errors in the transfer market over the summer, looking at depth instead of correct balance, and as we see this has reduced certain players with several percent as their lack of game time of course will affect their quality when called on. To have five different options for two central midfield positons, and not having a rotation plan, becomes a picture of Leicester at the moment. Having Choudhury, Skipp, Winks, Ndidi and Soumare for those positions, makes no sense, then to see even more players being linked, you just start to feel sick, as it is so far from perfect planning you can get.
Without a good rotation policy you cannot buy players for £20million on long term contracts and not use them, that is a disaster and it will be negative for squad moral, player developement and more. Leicester need to address this fast as it will just kick them hard if they do not understand how you should build a squad of correct balance and quality.
We have talked about this so many times before and to see this happening year in and year out, just overlooking the fact that you are talking about human beings and not playstation players, you will never get it correctly.
Leicester do need more quality to become a strong force in Premier League, but then also a great number of players must be shipped out, and that looks very difficult at the moment, so to see that happening in January would be a massive surprise, and to sign players in this window can also be difficult as you could stumble and make very wrong transfer decisions and in real if a relegation happens, put the club in a very difficult situation.
