Everton managed to hold Arsenal to a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees followed up their dominant 4-0 win against Wolves with another performance with plenty of positives.
Sean Dyche’s men were rock solid at the back and even Arsenal striker Kai Havertz hailed the Everton defence post-match, despite being frustrated.
That’s now back-to-back clean sheets for Everton as they moved on to 15 points, three clear of the relegation zone.
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day programme, Gary Lineker praised one Everton player in particular for his performance.

Pickford also earned an 8.2 match rating, which comfortably made him Everton’s Man of the Match. James Tarkowski followed with a 7.5 score.
Theo Walcott blown away by Pickford
Theo Walcott was also full of praise for his former Everton teammate Pickford on Match of the Day last night.
“You’ve got a goalkeeper who can just pull out saves like this,” Walcott explained as he watched footage of the 30-year-old.
“I mean it’s a fantastic save in the end, he’s unsighted.”
The former Sunderland shot-stopper endured a rocky start to the season but is now back to his very best at the crucial time – with a congested fixture list ahead.
