Rayan Ait-Nouri clashes with Wes Burns after full time of Wolves' defeat to Ipswich Town.
The sight of Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha losing their heads amid post-final whistle chaos at Molineux spelled the end was near for Gary O'Neil.
That was the verdict of Theo Walcott on punditry duty for Match of the Day after watching furious scenes and lost tempers following a home defeat to Ipswich Town that left O'Neil facing the axe. Ait-Nouri was shown a late, late yellow card which means he will be suspended for a crunch game next weekend against Leicester.
Jack Taylor had just scored a 94th minute winner for the visitors that means Wolves sit 19th with only nine points from 16 games, four points behind fourth-bottom Crystal Palace having played one match more.

There had already been ill discipline last Monday after a defeat to West Ham that saw Mario Lemina stripped of the captaincy.
Walcott said: “Discipline has gone out of the window here. Initially, you can see Delap and Ait-Nouri, this is where they both got bookings, they initiated the scuffle basically. The whole scenario which caused this disruption.
“After the scenes against West Ham, this has gone too far. You see now Cunha comes in and he actually gives one of the Ipswich security staff an elbow to the back of the head, which he’s unaware of. And not just that, he then removes his glasses.
“They’re going to miss him now and Ait-Nouri. When we talk about Gary O’Neil losing his dressing room. West Ham was the signs, today again. Leicester away next weekend, it’s a good time for Leicester to play them if they’re losing those players. It’s not acceptable, that’s for sure.”
