However, Juventus took the lead in the 11th minute with what was the first real chance of the game. Pugno got one-on-one with Colzani and scored with a precise diagonal shot.
Just before the hour mark Milan got themselves back level and the goal came from Emanuele Sala. He was in the right place at the right time to tap home a rebound from a loose ball inside the box.
