Arsenal have made contact with Barca over the transfer of their one superstar. Gunners are keen to improve their attack and are willing to spend big next year. They will try to sign Barca star either in January or in summer.
The star is discussion is Brazilian winger Raphinha. The 28 year old has been in superb form this season. He already has 25 goal involvements in 23 games across all competitions. In addition, he has already played in Premier League which has caught eyes of English clubs.
As per TBR Football, Gunners have contacted Barca and expressed their desire in signing Raphinha next year. But, the Spanish gaints are unwilling to part ways with the Brazilian. However, Gunners are unwilling to give up and take advantage of Barca’s financial situation.
Raphinha will be a very good addition to Arsenal squad. He will be an upgrade on Martinelli and Trossard who have failed to stay consistent. In addition, the 28 year old can act as backup for Saka and Odegaard whenever needed.
Barca may be tempted to part ways with some of their big stars next year. This is needed to get them back on tracks regarding finances. At the moment, they are finding it hard to register their summer signing Dani Olmo for the second half of season.
Arsenal were linked with Raphinha in the summer but nothing happened back then. They are again keen to sign the Brazilian and willing to enter the market for him in January itself. If nothing happens in January, they may once again enter in summer.
Along with Gunners, Liverpool and Man City have also shown interest in Barca winger. The Reds may try to replace Mohamed Salah whereas City will try to add another winger as their summer signing Savinho has bee out of form recently.
