Arsenal are reportedly set to launch a bid of up to £60 million for Brighton forward Joao Pedro in the upcoming January transfer window. According to a report from CaughtOffside, the Gunners view the 23-year-old Brazilian as a key addition to bolster their attack as they push for the Premier League title.
Liverpool, one of Arsenal’s primary title rivals, are also keen on Pedro, highlighting the intense competition for his signature. Manchester City are similarly monitoring the situation, with all three clubs recognising the striker’s potential to elevate their attacking options.
The need for a new striker has been a pressing issue for Arsenal, with manager Mikel Arteta facing criticism for not addressing the position in the summer transfer window. Arteta has previously expressed a preference for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak but is also keeping an eye on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

Brighton had set a £100 million price tag on Ferguson during the summer, but injury setbacks have reportedly led the Seagulls to consider a potential loan deal with a purchase option for the 20-year-old Irish forward.

Liverpool have made Pedro a priority target as well and are rumored to be preparing an offer similar to Arsenal’s, in the range of £55-65 million. Manager Arne Slot sees Pedro as a player with significant potential who could flourish at Anfield, particularly if a key attacker leaves next summer.
Brighton are believed to value Joao Pedro at €70 million (around £60 million) and could consider a sale if their valuation is met. Pedro is reportedly open to leaving Brighton for a Champions League club, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea all expressing interest.
Pedro’s ability to compete at the highest level makes him an attractive prospect for top-tier clubs. The 23-year-old would have the opportunity to challenge for major trophies while playing alongside elite talent, a prospect that could accelerate his development.
