The Blues are looking to close the gap on Liverpool to two points with a win this evening. The Reds, who sit at the top of the league table, were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham on Saturday afternoon and it is a great opportunity for Chelsea to keep the pressure on.
Enzo Maresca has consistently denied Chelsea are in the title race this season, insisting his side are "not ready", but there are supporters out there who are daring to dream. Brentford, though, will not be an easy challenge for the Blues.
The Bees are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with their home form as good as anyone's this term. Their away form leaves a little bit more to be desired but their record at Stamford Bridge - three wins from their last three visits - is incredibly strong.
