The future looks really bright for Everton.
The new stadium on Bramley Docks is taking shape and supporters were finally able to see it light up the Merseyside sky earlier this week.
Everton’s new ground could be a venue for England’s World Cup qualifiers in 2025, with a suggestion that it could stage a clash against Andorra in September.
As well as that exciting news, The Toffees are set to be taken over by the Friedin Group, ending Farhad Moshiri’s unsuccessful eight-and-a-half-year reign in charge.
The takeover is expected to bring a much-needed cash injection in future transfer windows and it could spell the end of Sean Dyche.
Everton fans have been urging the club to sack Dyche for weeks, though, those shouts have dampened recently after two positive results against Wolves and Arsenal.
With all that said, Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers, who is well respected on Merseyside, has just given the exact date of when the Friedkin Group should finalise the deal.

Alan Myers expects Friedkin Group to complete Everton takeover on Wednesday
Alan Myers was asked by an Everton fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) to predict the exact day of the takeover.
The Sky journalist responded with Wednesday the 18th of December, so by the time Everton face Chelsea next weekend, they could have their new owners watching on from the stands.

So, if that does indeed transpire, it’s set to be a busy and chaotic week ahead for all involved at Everton. Finally, change is coming.
Ahead of the takeover, the Friedkin Group are already eyeing Dan Ashworth to replace Kevin Thelwell as the sporting director.
So those plans could now accelerate in the coming days.
Friedkin Group may hold off on changing Sean Dyche
At one stage, it looked like Dyche was a goner as soon as the Friedkin Group took control of Everton.
However, that’s likely not going to be the case just yet as his side are coming off the back of a 4-0 win against Wolves and a variable away point at title hopefuls Arsenal.
Though, with such a tricky fixture run heading into the new year, Dyche remains on thin ice at Goodison Park.
Everton News exclusively reported that Dyche is likely to be sacked in the new year, with Thelwell also expected to leave.
