Stunning new Carlo Ancelotti claim means one very exciting thing for West Ham

A new Carlo Ancelotti claim could end up being the start of an exciting new era at West Ham United.

West Ham are clearly on the lookout for a new manager, with Julen Lopetegui currently under real pressure at the London Stadium.

Lopetegui could be sacked if the Hammers lose to Bournemouth on Monday night, and it would surprise absolutely nobody if that happened.

West Ham have been absolutely dire this season. The football has been horrendous and the results equally as bad.

The Hammers fans could be saved from the Spaniard’s footballing purgatory though, after a new Carlos Ancelotti claim came to light today.

And it really is great news for West Ham…

The legendary Real Madrid boss is being lined up for a new role imminently it seems.

The 65-year-old is being tipped to leave Real Madrid shortly.

And a stunning new report from Tuttomercatoweb has claimed that Roma are chasing his signature.

Now, Roma’s other option is Max Allegri – a man who is said to be the West Ham board’s favoured pick to replace Julen Lopetegui.

Now, if Ancelotti goes to Roma, the Hammers will have a great chance of obtaining Allegri’s signature.

And I firmly believe that the former Juventus boss would be absolutely ideal for West Ham.

I’m sorry, but those comparing Allegri to Manuel Pellegrini and even Julen Lopetegui are well wide of the mark.

The 57-year-old Italian has won six league titles throughout his illustrious career to date, and has 15 trophies to his name in total.

Allegri is incredibly intense and he excels when organising his teams defensively.

The Italian averaged two points per game in 506 Serie A games (Transfermarkt) – a remarkable record that highlights his consistency and longevity.

Max Allegri would transform West Ham overnight, and he certainly wouldn’t accept the standards that are currently present at the London Stadium.

Hopefully Carlo Ancelotti joining Roma would see Allegri emerge as the leading contender for the West Ham job.
