Gunners are set to lose Thomas Partey next summer and hence are monitoring his replacements. Arsenal have shown interest in Breno Bidon who has £83 million release clause.
Thomas Partey has been a crucial part of Arsenal since he joined them. He has always performed well and did the best job in various positions. But, the Ghanaian will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Recent reports suggests that Gunners are finding it hard to agree a new contract with Partey. As of now, he is set to leave them for free in summer and will be free to hold talks with foreign clubs in January.
Along with Partey, his midfield partner Jorginho will also be out of contract at the end of season. This will be a huge loss for Gunners to lose 2 experienced players playing in same position at same time.
As a result, Gunners will enter transition period and have already started to look for the replacements. Recently, they have been linked with young Brazilian who is proving himself on the highest stage of football.
Arsenal keeping tabs on Breno Bidon
According to Trivela, Gunners are showing interest in Brazilian midfielder Breno Bidon. Bidon is 19 years old and plays for Corinthians. He is already a regulat starter for senior team and has played 44 games this season.
Bidon has a £83 million release clause in his contract. But, it seems like the Brazilian club will be open to sell him on discounted price. Bidon is their academy player and hence all money earned from the deal will be counted as pure profit.
Alon with Arsenal, Fulham are also keeping tabs on Bidon. But, his high cost may prove as a turn off for Fulham which will come as a boost for Gunners.
