Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs
Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is the Director of Football at Salford
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs potentially hinted at a return to management as the Welshman was spotted in the dugout at Salford City.
The Old Trafford icon co-owns the Salford team along with Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and David Beckham. Giggs was spotted taking a more hands on role during the League Two clash with Notts County.
Ahead of the game, the former Welsh international was seen chatting with The Ammies manager Karl Robinson. When the match got underway, Giggs sat down with other members of the club's coaching staff.

This is the first time that the United legend has been involved in some form of managerial work since he resigned from being Wales boss in 2022. He had been on leave from the national team since 2020 when he faced a domestic violence trial.
Giggs had denied any wrongdoing and a jury eventually failed to reach a verdict in 2022. The idea of a second trial the following year fell through.
After some time away from football, he returned to the sport as Salford's director of football. Although he has been seen on the touchline this season, fans were happy to see him in the dugout again.
The Welshman has also been found watching Salford games from the crowd as has the other owners such as Gary Neville and Scholes.
Giggs was interim manager for United in 2014 following the sacking of David Moyes. He was eventually replaced by Louis van Gaal. The ex-midfielder was then assistant manager to the Dutchman for two years. He then managed Wales who he led to qualify for Euro 2020.
