Manuel Ugarte and Joshua Zirkzee have offered their support to Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford after he was left out of the squad for the win over Manchester City.
The England international was among the two high-profile absentees for the cross-city trip to face their rivals on Sunday, with Alejandro Garnacho also omitted from the squad. Ruben Amorim took the ruthless decision to leave the pair out of the matchday squad for their showdown with the Portuguese tactician suggesting that clothing and lifestyle choices contributed to the decision.
Despite the difficult decision of being left out against their rivals, Rashford posted immediately after the dramatic win over Pep Guardiola's side thanks to an inspirational display from Amad.

"Yesssssssss! Love it lads," he posted on his Instagram with two red heart emojis from his home. Teammates Ugarte and Zirkzee were quick to offer their support to Rashford as they commented with heart emoji's respectively.
"It’s important to say why: was not a disciplinary thing," Amorim said post-match. "Next week, next game, new life, they are fighting for their places.
"But for me, it’s important: the performance in training, the performance in game, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with teammates, the way you push your teammates, everything is important in our context in the beginning of something when when we want to change a lot of things.
"When people in our club are losing their jobs we have to put the standards really high and for that they have to fight for a place in the team. And today the team proved we can leave anyone out of the squad and manage to win if you play together."
