Free spending Chelsea continue to be linked with some of Europe’s most sought after talent ahead of January.

Chelsea continue to go from strength to strength under Enzo Maresca this season with talk of a title charge gathering pace with every win.

A 2-1 triumph over Brentford on Sunday night made it five Premier League victories in a row for the Blues as the former Leicester City man earns plaudits for his work at Stamford Bridge so far. Maresca was backed with money as he arrived this summer, splurging on Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Filip Jorgensen.

With a potential Premier League title in sight, Chelsea could look to bring in further recruits as the January transfer window nears. LondonWorld looks at how the Chelsea starting XI could look after January if current transfer rumours are true, with market values as per Transfermarkt.

LB - Marc Cucurella, £24.9m

A big character in the Chelsea team, the World Cup winner keeps on going from strength to strength. Found himself on the scoresheet for the first time this season against Brentford.

CB - Levi Colwill, £41.5m

Blossoming into a first rate centre-back. A youth academy triumph, the Blues won’t plan on letting the 21-year-old leave any time soon.

CB - Wesley Fofana, £20.7m

RB - Jules Kounde, £45.6m

CDM - Enzo Fernandez, £62.2m

Forming quite the partnership with Moises Caicedo in the centre of the park. An industrious player.

Looks to finally be shaking the weight of that £115 million price tag off and enjoying his football. His importance in this team continues to grow.

LW - Nico Williams, £58m

One of Europe's most sought after wingers, the Athletic Bilbao man is believed to be a key target for Chelsea. Transfer links with the Blues are plentiful across the continent but there is competition from Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid too.

CAM - Cole Palmer, £74.7m

The main man. What a coup the £40 million paid to Manchester City is looking now.

RW - Pedro Neto, £45.6m

Didn't feature against Brentford due to suspension but has made 13 Premier League appearances this season since his £54 million move from Wolves in the summer.

ST - Ivan Toney, £23.2m

Linked with a move to Chelsea all summer as he sought an exit from Brentford but that didn't happen with the striker instead signing for Al Ahli for £40 million. Despite only moving in the summer, Fichajes suggest that Toney may not be all that happy with his new venture and that the Blues could look to bring him back to the Premier League immediately.
