Barcelona star Fermin Lopez has become the latest player needing a trip to the dentist after Sunday’s clash with Leganes in La Liga.
The midfielder came on as a second-half substitute but it was a painful outing for Fermin who took an elbow to the face and lost part of his front tooth.
The incident comes just after Dani Olmo lost a tooth during Barcelona’s clash with Real Betis in La Liga. Olmo was spotted with a big gap in his teeth but then did appear to find the missing tooth on the turf.
Sunday’s match also ended up being costly for Barcelona. Hansi Flick’s side went down 1-0 to suffer their fourth league defeat of the season. It’s also the first time Leganes have managed an away win all season.
The result leaves Barcelona top of La Liga but they are level on points with Atletico who they face next. Real Madrid are a point behind and have a game in hand.
