Marc Cucurella scored his first Premier League goal for the Blues to open the scoring at a time where they were being frustrated by their opponents and the low block they played.

Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho unmoved during Marc Cucurella’s red card
The final whistle did not bring an end to the drama, as Cucurella was given a second yellow card for his part in an altercation between both sides.
While it was kicking off between both sets of players, it seemed as if attacking stars Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho had no intentions of getting involved.
The pair were both sat on the Stamford Bridge turf, exchanging a few words and a smile as they gained another two points over the weekend on league-leaders Liverpool.
While neither registered a goal or an assist today, both played big roles in the Blues picking up all three points. Sancho in particular continues to go from strength to strength as an attacking option.

Cucurella will be suspended for one Premier League game after his red card, meaning he will be absent from the side who take on Everton next weekend.
It is likely that Enzo Maresca brings Renato Veiga back into his starting side, with him racking up most of his appearances so far this season in the cup competitions.
The Spaniard has proven to be crucial to Maresca’s system this season, and playing without him will undoubtedly be a big blow.
However, the opportunity is there for Veiga to make a real statement that he is already a very important member of the Chelsea squad.
