Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes has showered praise on teammate Amad for netting the game-winning goal in Sunday's intense 2-1 victory against Manchester City.
Down 1-0 as the game neared its end following Josko Gvardiol's earlier effort, the Red Devils mounted an epic comeback to claim victory and city-wide bragging rights.
With barely a minute left in regular play, Fernandes levelled the score with a coolly taken penalty, outfoxing Ederson after Amad was brought down by Matheus Nunes.

Just when the match looked destined for a draw, up stepped Amad with a dramatic decider – connecting with Lisandro Martinez's sublime pass, chipping Ederson, and finishing impeccably – sending the visiting fans at Etihad Stadium into ecstasy.
Amad was absolutely electric the entire match, giving City's back line headaches throughout. And according to Fernandes, this is just the appetiser of what's to come from the young Ivorian star.

In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Fernandes said: "He has been doing well, he has been doing great things and I think there is a still a lot to come from him because we really believe in his qualities and we know what he is capable of doing.
"He showed it again today. He is always alive and this is why he gets the penalty, why he gets the goal. He has been brilliant. We need him at this level because when he is like this he is unstoppable," reports the Manchester Evening News.
Fernandes appeared to have missed the opportunity to secure a point for United earlier in the second half when he was set up by Rasmus Hojlund and lofted the ball over Ederson. However, he made amends by confidently converting from the penalty spot.

He commented: "It was a big chance when still 1-0 down. I just tried to lift the ball away from Ederson. A penalty is a moment of nerves. They are a big part of games. I am ready to calm myself down in big moments."
