I was sold by Everton for £2m in 2019 but now Manchester City want me in a £40m deal

Everton have made a number of transfer blunders during Farhad Moshiri’s reign in charge.

Since Moshiri’s arrival in 2016, The Toffees have been really hit-and-miss in transfer windows despite outlaying a fortune.

The likes of Moise Kean and Beto instantly spring to mind, with a whopping £67m spent on the two forwards.

The flop duo have scored a combined 11 goals in 87 appearances and it’s understood Beto is likely to leave Everton this January transfer window.

Everton haven’t just made errors with signings, but also in sales, and now one of their former players is ripping it up in the Premier League.

So much so, that Manchester City want to sign him.

Everton must regret selling Antonee Robinson who Man City now want

Antonee Robinson graduated through the Everton academy but the decision was made to sell him on a permanent deal to Wigan in 2019.

The Lactics paid £2m for his signature and just a year later he made the move to Fulham, who had just gained promotion to the Premier League.

Since then, Robinson has been gradually improving and fast forward to today, he is considered one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.

In fact, according to GiveMeSport, reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are seriously considering signing him.

Pep Guardiola’s side are eyeing a £40m swoop, though, they could face competition from Liverpool.

Everton must now really regret selling Robinson, as Vitaliy Mykolenko just isn’t living up to his early promise.

Everton must upgrade on Vitaliy Mykolenko next summer

Everton have a lot to do in the winter transfer window.

A striker is certainly needed as Dominic Calvert-Lewin continues to misfire whilst they could also do with another wide player.

A right-back should also be top of their wishlist and Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey has been linked with a move to Everton.

Those three positions should be the first priority but next summer, the Merseysiders could really do with upgrading Mykolenko.

Everton fans have been highly critical of Mykolenko this season.
