Members of our Berlin branch were recently invited to the Etihad Stadium to receive their commemorative plaque to celebrate its belated one-year anniversary.
Established in 2022, the German branch was founded by two keen City fans travelling back to Berlin at 5am having seen the Blues in Dortmund.

Sarah, the branch’s Chair admitted great pride when discussing the branch: “We are an impressively diverse branch with members of seven different nationalities from five continents – all of whom have found a home in Germany and a home at Manchester City.”
Presented at the recent Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur, we spoke with Mohammed, Secretary of the branch, after the game.
“I took my family to the Etihad to watch City play Spurs and to also represent the Berlin OSC and receive the plaque on behalf of the branch,” he said.
“My family and I were super excited to be at the Etihad and to watch our favourite team play Spurs.
“Unfortunately, we left the Etihad disappointed with the result but the blue carpet experience turned out to be an amazing consolation.
“Receiving the plaque on behalf of the branch, getting interviewed on TV and watching the players arrival are incredible memories that’ll stay with us forever.”
